_ [Music] Live In New York / Herbie Hancock
業務連絡。たしか佐藤くんだったと思うけど(公文だっけ?)、ハービー・ハンコックのLive In New York (Jazz Door)手に入ったよ。借りたければ連絡してください。
これは良い。トータルミュージシャンとしては他にもいろいろ良い物が挙げられるだろうけれど、一ジャズピアニストとしては紛れもなくこれがハービーの最高傑作だと思う。やりたい放題やっているのにビシっと「決まっている」フレージングに脱帽。ベースとドラムスが無名の若手でやや弱いので、いつも以上に頑張らざるを得なかったという面もあるんでしょう。
ちなみにJazz Doorはドイツにあったブートレグの胴元で、いろいろ面白いもの(ギル・エヴァンスとスティングの共演盤とか)を出していたのだが、どう見ても正真正銘のブートレグのくせについ最近までそこらの外資系CDショップで売られていた。ゆえに品切れとはいえAmazonのカタログにもまだ残っているようだ。へんなの。
スカパラも最近のは CCCD でしたっけ？

ハンコック、是非聴いてみたいです。でもずいぶん懐かしい話だなー。フィッシュマンズ大好きです。声と曲が。ここを経由して初めて宮代どっとコムを見に行ったですよ。
